Il Rigo
For five centuries, the stone farmhouse of Il Rigo has seen the sun rising over one of the most glorious panoramas of Tuscany: the sight embraces the Val d'Orcia, from Pienza to Radicofani.
Il Rigo's doors are open and we welcome all travelers who wish to know the authentic Tuscany, made out of respect for the land and for our ancient culture.
Our roots run deep into the earth (‘creta’ in italian), and our arms are open to anyone looking for Peace, Kindness and Simplicity.
HOSPITALITY
Our rooms span two houses, Casabianca and Poggio Bacoca, both of wich overlook the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia

Pure and simple
The paradise for landscape lovers, photographers, foodies and people with a passion for history and culture
Working the tough soil ourselves, we grow seasonal and organic flowers, mixing them with wild herbs in bouquets and arrangements that exude the natural beauty and joy of this place
We serve traditional recipes, prepared from scratch, that we cook with our own hands using organic products grown on our farm
We conserve water. We collect rain water and recycle water from waste. We reduce the use of plastic and follow separate collection for waste sorting. Il Rigo has been certified as an organic farm for 30 years
