good food is part of us
We cook from the heart
In our kitchen we celebrate the Tuscan tradition.
We prepare the dishes of our childhood: you will find in our recipes a special bond of affection and belonging.
Our food is healthy: we only use organic, local and seasonal products.
Through our recipes we communicate the Respect for our Land.
In our dishes you will find the sun of the Val d'Orcia and the hands of the farmers who work this land.
WE PROPOSE A sweet and savory buffet
The Breakfast
For breakfast you will find a selection of sweet and savory products.
The specialties we offer include local charcuterie, Pienza sheep cheese, homemade cakes and cookies, baked with our organic stone milled flour, and homemade jams to go with our sourdough bread.
Every day you will find a choice of organic muesli and cereals, natural yogurt and fresh fruits.
In summer, when they are in season, we prepare grilled zucchini, eggplants and fresh tomatoes.
Our products are entirely local, organic and homemade from scratch.
We offer a small range of high-quality products, rather than too many, industrialized options!
You will not find processed pastries or packaged snacks on our table.

Dinner
We offer a 4-course tasting menu that changes daily.
Our cooking is traditional Tuscan cuisine, and we use vegetables from our vegetable garden, grains and flour from our farm, and seasonal and local products.
An impressive variety of Tuscan wine is available for dinner.
You can ask for advice from Lorenza, who personally selects from and updates our collection. She’ll be enthusiastic to let you discover the great wine from this region.
Our menus always include a meat course; however, we are happy to accommodate guests with food intolerances, by preparing vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives by request.
Dinner is served in the dining room, converted from the old barn, and, in summer, under the pergola with a panoramic view of the Val d'Orcia!
Reservation is required
The dinner costs 35€ per person
(still water and coffee included, wine and spirits excluded).
Children from 4 to 12 years old pay 15€. Babies under 3 years don’t pay.

Cooking classes
Our cooking classes are held in our family home "Casa dell'Abate Naldi" (XVII century residence) in San Quirico d'Orcia.
Classes are hands-on, taught in English.
ogether, we will prepare a traditional Italian lunch, always featuring one type of fresh pasta (tagliatelle, lasagna, ravioli or the local eggless "pici"). All the recipes are prepared from scratch using local, seasonal and fresh ingredients. The menu varies according to the season and produce available.
At the end of the course, all the participants will sit around the table to enjoy their home-cooked meal together!
Everyone will get a copy of the recipes prepared during the class and additional technical tips.
Classes are held for groups of 4 to 8 people (for smaller groups we can combine with other requests for the same day)
Morning classes start at 10.30 AM and last around 4 hours including lunch
If you travel with a group or have special requests write us an email and we can personalize the experience accordingly
from chianti to brunello
Wine tastings
Our tastings are led by Lorenza and Matthias, members of the wine association ONAV. We organize comparative blind tastings of 3 red Tuscan wines, always featuring a Brunello DOCG.
During the tasting, we also serve some snacks.
